Here is a little box of inspiration... I love creating little boxes with little worlds living inside...Even as a little girl I was fascinated with little doll houses, little things...I'd forgotten how much I loved until several years ago when my beautiful niece Katie started sending me little treasures through the mail. And I've held onto her treasures every since...she is beautiful isn't she? Just some more of Queen Mitzi's impeccable work! Ok, I could gush for hours about these girls, but time is short...so back to the little treasure box. I had bought this blank wooden box at Micheals Crafts...they have them in every shape, style and size...I didn't know really what I was going to do with it, but I was in the flurry of making the extra stuff for my Altered Tin Swap with a Halloween theme for my partner, and as always on my mind I was thinking of Mitzi and her little kingdom of princess'...and you know how one thing leads to another...I created a wardrobe...

I was delighted and then my head started to fill with all the different ways and themes you could use this...Santa's workshop, a nativity, elves closet, Thanks giving? Or not even holiday, how about a "Diva's dream closet", little stilleto's made from clay, feather boa? Little hangers made from wire, paper dresses...once I figured it out it went rather quickly! I've never hosted a swap, but would really love to do this idea as a swap. Any takers? If you think it looks like a fun and interesting swap please post a comment...If I get enough interest I'll host my first swap! Or even if someone would like to do it one on one with me...If so, please let me know... Micheals has these blank boxes in shapes of square, purses, suitcases, etc...and the best part is they are so cheap. Like $2-$3. Creativity doesn't get more reasonable than that! So please come play with me...If you let me know, we can narrow down the theme with a generous exchange date... I hope you love it as much as I!
